This past 2.5 weeks to visit family in UT and OR we have determined was NOT a vacation but a family trip. Byron and I both decided a vacation is not when you still have 3 kids to get to bed and feed (and ride 12hrs on a plane/sit in airports with 3 kids all of which who refused to fall asleep even though it was midnight!) but when you have no responsibilities.While in Utah we had a family picnic at Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon
We went on the alpine slide in Park City Kenzie and I had a slow dud of a ride but Byron had a fast tract. Mikayla was finally old enough to go by herself.
We visited This Is the Place Center which was actually quite fun for the kids. They had train rides, bead making, candle dipping, petting zoo, pony rides, and indian necklace making. We also had a picinic while there. It was hot but the kids had a great time.
We also went to Lehi indoor/outdoor pool with slides and lots of fountains and swings in the water for the kids to play on but didn't get any pics. Byron and I went to the AF temple, we found some great deals at DI, including a lands end backpack like new for only $3! In our down time we played Wii at Byron's sisters Sarah's and his mom made us awesome meals while were there!
