Snow day

Since we didn't join Byron in Park City we decided to drive 6.5 hrs each way to the closest snow. After 13hrs of driving the kids only tubed for 1 hr (after us pleading with them to just do it one more time) and played in the snow building snowmen and having a snowball fight for another half hour. As you can see it was a beautiful day and we didn't even need heavy coats. We did have to hike up a hill that the kids got tired of and after about 4 runs Zach had enough and just wanted to sit on the sidelines. Kenzie seemed to have the most fun. Boy was I glad we didn't fly to Park City for only 2hrs of fun!

Park city and Jenson's Visit

Byron got to go to Park City for 3 days with a work trip while my parents came to visit. While Byron had a blast skiing and eating good food and seeing Avatar at an Imax with his family. We made lots of treats and did lots of crafts.

We got free tickets to Magic Kingdom by volunteering. It was a crazy day. We drove down first thing in the morning. Got there at about 10:30, the park was more crowded than we thought for being the middle of Jan. Didn't take many pictures because we have been there so many times. We did this mostly for Zach, who was free and we have decided we are done with Magic Kingdom and moving on to water parks. My favorite ride splash mountain was closed so that was a bummer. Then we left at about 7pm stopped at wendys and got something to eat and got home around midnight. Everybody was exhasted by 7pm (thanks to no nap and waking up early) and ready to go home. Good thing we only paid for 1 kids ticket!

Santa

On the Island Santa comes around on a firetruck on Christmas Eve and hands out goodies to the kids.

Zach funnies

The other night we were eating broccoli, and Byron said to Zach "you need to eat the broccoli so that it goes to your tummy." So Zach proceeded to lift up his shirt and hold the broccoli on his tummy hopeing he could bypass the eating of it.

I was looking for the season salt last night to put on the veggies, as I turned around I saw Zach holding the salt and trying to spit something out. He had "drank" the season salt. gross, he then stuck his hands in his mouth and tried to wipe it out. Needless to say he drank a lot of water after that.
