HOT HOT HOT

It has been so hot here that I finally let him bring his scooter inside to play becuz I was sick of being outside in the heat. He wants to be outside all day long...he can actually do the scooter really well with the foot push and all. Last night at 8pm it was still 81 degrees outside. This picture also showcases his fav color....orange...he wants anything orange..orange juice, orange candy, orange clothes (he actually tries to pick them out, finding the ones with orange in them)

Kenzie's 1st tooth

A few things to notice in this picture:
Kenzie lost her first tooth...she was till up at 9pm trying to wiggle it out when she finally let Byron pull it out. Then he let her take it to school where off course she really lost it forever!
Kenzie's new haircut...I did it myself...we cut off a few inches.
Kenzie's new headband that I made (thanks to the instructions from a few friends) now I have gone crazy making all colors and textures...I went to Michaels 4x in 3 days.

9/9/09

My bday! I had to brag because not many people with have a cool date like this. So to make it extra special we went to wet n wild in Orlando for the day with both girls. My sister was here visiting and watched Zach for us so that we could have even more fun. We left at 7am, drove 3.5 hrs. Went on a ton of awesome rides. Left at 5pm when the park closed and got home by 9:30 after shopping at the outlets for 30mins. This was my favorite water park yet. They had about 5 rides that seated 4 people on 1 tube, and 3 winding/racing mat rides that Kenzie could even do by herself. We only waited 10mins on 2 rides and the rest we walked onto. They also had an awesome huge half of a beach ball/bubble that the kids could climb up and slide/bounce down. This was one of the kids favorite. It was perfect weather with little crowds. We may just do this every year. We probably went on everything at least 5x. Byron even did a few wild/crazy rides while I took the girls on the not so crazy stuff.

What a few days

In just a few days time:
Kenzie got kicked off the bus. She used to be our little "Angel" Not so much anymore. She was standing up, not listening to the bus driver and pestering other kids. I asked her why she could be so good at school at get no naughty notes, but not be good on the bus? Her response, "I can't be good all the time, where do you want me to be good, school or the bus? or half and half? " I chose the bus, and sure enough the next day she had moved her clip once and had not got the normal outstanding note from the teacher. What a stinker...
Zach made a few more messes for me to clean up and I more phone (total now=3) to poison control. He got into Mikayla special blue mouthwash (so she can see how good she has brushed) and drank a baby cupful. Mikayla had neglected to put it away where he couldn't reach it and where it belonged. So we called poison control again....luckily he will survive. The mess was about a quarter gallon of spilled milk. I was out bringing stuff in from the van and in that amount of time he had gotten the milk out of the fridge, poured it into a bowl on my leather ottoman, and carried it into the kitchen spilling along the way. So milk was all over the carpet and inside the ottoman all over my books...and then I put him in his room and while he was banging the armoire door cornstartch fell down from the top onto the floor. 2 messes in minutes! thanks Zach! Sorry no pics I was late for an appt and was frantically cleaning before it dried and started to smell rotten.

If you live on the Coast of Georgia you just gotta go shrimpin at least once...so says Byron. We got the opportunity Tuesday thanks to Byron's work Rich products. They invited the families to tag a long with the sales and marketing guys on the excursion. Then we even got some awesome food at Spankys afterwards...ymmm fried veggies with ranch. As you will see Kenzie wanted a picture taken of every aniamal she held (which was a ton). We saw lots of baby sharks, tons of fish, crabs, squid, sting rays, one dolphin that kept following us, puffer fish and many others. Me and the girls were frantically trying to save all the sea life from dying (by throwing it back in the ocean) while they were picking out the shrimp to eat! As you will notice in the pics lots of seagulls following us...and yes i got pooped on! It was also raining out while we were gone, but that added to the thrill of it all.
