Last Sat. we went to a beach that is an hr away, mind you we have a beach 5 mins away, but our beach has baby waves and dirty warm water. The beach we went to had cleaner sand, cleaner water, bigger waves, but colder water (too cold for me to get in at 82 degrees) The kids fought us on going, but we knew they would love it once they got there. It took us 1.5 hrs just to pack up and get the kids ready! As you can see Kenzie was having fun and now when I say we are going to the beach she only wants to go to this one even if she has to sit in the car for an hr each way!
I hate putting sunscreen on one very big husband and 3 kids plus myself so we got Byron and Buddy a rashguard. This hat Byron got reminds me of his mom and dad and their funny hats. But its better than getting burned.
Mikayla and Byron boggie boarding together. The other funny thing is we had to get forcing Mikayla to go out and boogie board becuz she just wanted to catch little fish in the shallow waves. But once she got out there she loved it.
